Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please reach out in advance and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.
The Lodge sleeps up to 16 guests (5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms). The River House sleeps up to 12 guests (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms). An additional guest fee of $15 per night applies after the 10th guest at The Lodge. Please list all guests at the time of booking.
Pets are welcome at The River House and at The Lodge after prior arrangement. Please reach out before booking to confirm. A pet fee may apply. The Lodge at Cedar Bluff Farms is an active working farm with horses, goats, and other animals on the property, so please keep that in mind when bringing pets.

Rehearsal dinners are included in the package 2-day and 3-day weekend package. We include access to tables and chairs for up to 60 guests.
To get started, simply click the link for The Lodge or The River House and reserve your dates through our booking calendar. Once you’ve secured your stay, send me a quick message letting me know you’re planning to host a wedding. I’ll follow up with the event fee details and your event contract!
You’re also welcome to book both properties if you’d like extra space for guests and a full wedding weekend experience.

The Lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, blender, and more), washer and dryer, high-speed fiber WiFi, a garage game room with ping pong, foosball, Nintendo 64, and cornhole, an outdoor fire pit with seating, two covered porches, and a large yard perfect for outdoor games. Bed linens, towels, and essentials are all provided.
Yes! You can add on a Farm Animal Experience featuring our friendly baby goats and Wilson the donkey. It is a hands-on, fun activity for guests of all ages and a favorite among families visiting the farm. Please inquire when booking to add this experience to your stay.
Yes, all weddings require one-day event liability insurance.
If serving alcohol beyond champagne or wine, your policy must include host liquor liability.

The River House features a bright farmhouse kitchen with gas BBQ grill, dishwasher, coffee maker, and full cooking setup, a cozy fireplace, washer and dryer, WiFi, air conditioning, a golf cart for exploring the property, kayaks for the private river (recreational floating- it is a small river), ping pong, pickleball in the barn, and bicycles. Bed linens, towels, and essentials are all provided.
We do not provide food service.
You may bring:

• Restaurant drop-off
• Potluck or homemade food
Our kitchen is residential, not commercial. You and your caterer are responsible for food safety and cleanup.

There is plenty to explore at Cedar Bluff Farms! Guests at The River House have access to kayaks on the Sac River (just a minute from the property- recreational floating, it is a small river), a golf cart for cruising the land, bicycles, and pickleball at the barn. The Lodge features a fire pit, two covered porches, and direct access to 75 acres of peaceful countryside with stocked ponds to fish. Both properties are close to Stockton Lake (about 30 minutes away) for boating and fishing, and Springfield, MO is just 25 minutes away for dining and shopping. You can also meet the farm animals at the Lodge - including baby goats and Wilson the donkey.
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol (BYOB) for your private event.
Cedar Bluff Farms does not sell, serve, or provide alcohol, and alcohol may not be sold, bartered, or exchanged for payment on the property.
You are responsible for monitoring your guests, ensuring safe alcohol service, and arranging safe transportation.
If you choose to hire a bartender or alcohol service provider, they must be properly licensed (if required by law) and carry liability insurance. Bartenders may only serve alcohol provided by the Client unless otherwise approved in advance.
Host liquor liability event insurance is required in addition to your standard event insurance if alcohol beyond champagne or wine is being served.

Wedding pricing at Cedar Bluff Farms in Ash Grove, Missouri varies based on the package and length of stay you choose.

Yes! Both properties can be booked separately or together for the same weekend, making Cedar Bluff Farms a great option for larger gatherings of 27 or more guests. The Lodge and The River House are about a mile apart by road and do not share land or river access, so each group enjoys their own private space. Contact us to coordinate a multi-property booking.
We provide access to power at the ceremony site.
You are responsible for:

• Hiring a DJ or licensed audio professional
• Extension cords and sound checks

We always encourage couples to have a simple rain plan in place just in case.

If you’re considering a tent, I have a great relationship with Jumping Jacks Event Rentals in Springfield. One thing couples love is that you can reserve a tent and cancel up to the day before your event if the forecast looks clear.
Their 30×30 tents are currently around $630 and work great for ceremony or reception coverage.

To keep Cedar Bluff Farms beautiful and safe for everyone, we ask vendors to follow these simple guidelines:
Arrival & Setup
• Vendors must coordinate arrival times with the Client.
• Setup and teardown must be completed within the rental window.
• Please respect all restricted areas.
Food & Catering
• Our kitchen is residential, not commercial.
• Vendors are responsible for food safety and sanitation.
• All trash must be removed.
Alcohol Service
• Alcohol may not be sold on-site unless by licensed bartender.
• Bartenders must verify age.
• Host liquor liability insurance is required.
Sound & Equipment
• Cedar Bluff Farms does not provide speakers, microphones, extension cords, or technical assistance.
• All sound equipment must be operated by the vendor or Client.
• Please be mindful of volume and quiet hours. (11 p.m.)
Property Care
• No nails, staples, or permanent fixtures in walls or trees.
• No driving on lawns unless approved.
• Vendors are responsible for any damage caused during setup or breakdown.
Working Farm Environment
Please be aware:
• Uneven terrain

• Farm animals and wildlife
• Limited lighting after dark

Yes! The Lodge includes a 6-stall barn and paddocks, making it a fantastic option for equine guests. Whether you are trail riding through the property or simply want to bring your horses along for the getaway, Cedar Bluff Farms has the facilities to accommodate them. Please contact us in advance to arrange equine boarding for your stay.
All paid prepayments are non-refundable. If you have specific questions about your situation, please reach out to us directly and we will do our best to help.
To reserve your dates for your wedding, a $500 deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival. All paid prepayments are non-refundable, so we encourage guests to review our cancellation policy before booking. You can check availability and book directly through our website or by contacting us.
Cedar Bluff Farms is located in Ash Grove, Missouri, just about 25 minutes West of Springfield, MO. Stockton Lake is roughly 30 minutes away, and the Sac River is only about a minute from the properties. It is a peaceful rural setting that feels a world away, but is still close enough to town for anything you need.
